Guadalupe Mountain National Park is a must see attraction for
outdoor enthusiasts! The Guadalupe National Park area boasts ideal
weather for outdoor recreation and activity and offers breathtaking
scenery. A limestone fossil reef makes up portions of the Guadalupe
Mountains with tremendous earth faults, soaring peaks, unique
flora and fauna and more.
The Guadalupe Mountain National Park also features more than
80 miles of trails for backpacking, camping, hiking, horseback
riding, wildlife viewing or just enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
An entry permit must be purchased upon entering Guadalupe Mountain
National Park and is good for 7 days. Backcountry camping in the
Guadalupe Mountain National Park is a popular activity and a great
way to experience nature first-hand. A backcountry permit is required.
It can be picked up at the Guadalupe Mountain National Park Visitors
Center and is free of charge.

Campsite: $8 per night, per site
Groups Campsites*: $3 per person, minimum
of $30
*group camping requires minimum of 10 people and
maximum of 20 people
