Tour Operator Services

Once you've determined to place Midland on your itinerary, the staff will assist with the planning process and provide you with valuable services ensuring the success of your visit. Complimentary services and promotional items are provided to groups at the discretion of the Bureau. Planning Services:

• Custom itineraries- Assist in developing an itinerary based on the interests and time frames of your group.

• Accommodations - Gather detailed information on your group to submit to hotels requesting a rate and amenity package for you.

• Group Planning Guide - A printed guide of services, attractions and facilities to assist in planning your event.

• Meal and entertainment function planning - Assist in the development of special events and functions at our attractions and act as a liaison.

• Tours - Develop and coordinate tours of attractions and the area.

• Catering List - Provide a list of local caterers from the approved vendor list of the Midland Center.

Promotion and Publicity:

• Slides, photos and promotional video - Offer our library of photos, slides and promotional video for use in your print and promotional pieces.

• Use of Midland logo - Camera ready art of our logo is available upon request (print guidelines must be followed).

Staffing Assistance:

• Step-on guide - Provided complimentary by the CVB staff for tours of Midland's attractions and sites.

• Docents - The CVB will assist in arranging knowledgeable docents at Midland's points of interest.

Materials and Incentives:

• Visitor information and logo items - Plastic bags with Midland logo imprinted are filled with brochures, maps and a souvenir Midland lapel pin.

• Welcome banner at hotel - Provide a welcome banner for your use at the hotel.

• Welcome reception - Upon arrival at your hotel, the CVB staff will greet your group with complimentary refreshments.

• FAM tours - Periodically, the Midland CVB will host a familiarization tour for prospective tour operators.

• Complimentary admission for tour operators and bus drivers - Tour operators and bus drivers enjoy Midland's attractions and entertainment compliments of the CVB.
